my sister got front row tickets to the sydney show, and she took me along (i think none of her friends wanted to go, haha). oh boy, was front row 1. embarassing because i felt like the oldest person in the whole place; 2. very very close to the dancers.
the show would of been better if it didn’t feel like a over rehearsed but very cute high school musical, but all the dancers were amazing to see in real life. they’re fantastic at what they do – i had a great time watching them dance new stuff and old favourites from the show.
Rhys, our favourite, was really charismatic and a crowd favourite. Jack, the winner, is heaps better in person, imo!
favourite parts – Henry and Vanessa’s African samba (it’s goooood live!), Kate and Jack’s Singing in the Rain, Kate and Graeme’s ‘fix you’ contemporary, Demi and Jack’s Samba and Rhys’ solo
