my big boy Jasper… such an amazing little man he’s becoming! we had no idea he could come down the stairs as we hadn’t gotten around to teaching him yet, but yesterday i was being funny and was bum shuffling down and he started to copy me, and came down all on his own! here’s a video from when he did it again later that day…

it’s really incredible the amount they pick up at this age..
this morning, we were watching Sesame Street and the word of the day was ‘stuck’. (a word he has picked up in the last week or so when he gets stuck climbing up/on/into something! he’ll yell out ‘sduck’ if he needs us to help LOL). they had a bit where an elephant gets stuck in the doorway, and Jasper exclaims to me
‘uh oh, eee’s sduck! sduck!’ and then makes his elephant noise …
i couldn’t believe that 1. he’s stringing words together; 2. he’s applying concepts (and 3. i didn’t have a video camera running on him 24/7 to capture the cuteness)
i’m so proud 🙂
