to my Jovie sweetheart,
you are now seven months old and gaining skills like it’s all the rage…
in the last 4 weeks, your first two teeth have broken through and while this was a HUGE issue for your brother (i mean, HUGE as in waking 6 times a night) it doesn’t seem to bother you so much… you’re more worried about being on your own for a minute, or trying to master the walker. and master it you did! i think it only took 15 minutes to figure out that you can magically follow us, upright. you can handle corners like a pro, and and do a three point turn in the hallway like it’s nothing. i think you’re finally relieved that you’re one step closer to chasing Jasper around the house…
speaking of which – you both have seemed to grow closer this past month
Jasper loves to give you a hug (or what looks like a wrestling move) – and you love it when he does! the joy and the giggle that comes out of you is like no other – you follow him as fast as you can, you want to do what he does and he thinks that’s pretty cool too 🙂
in the past few days, you’ve started ‘da da da’-ing and ‘ba ba ba’-ing — i think, once again, your first word will be ‘dada’ and my name won’t be mentioned unless you want something, lol. but i don’t mind – the happiness i get from being around you is enough to fuel my day, i can’t wait to see what you get up to tomorrow…
