NO, it’s not about *that*… we’ve finally moved Jovie’s cot out of our bedroom. after almost 2 years of room sharing with our youngest baby, it was time to move her into her brother’s room.

i can hardly remember what it’s like to be able to come into my room at night and turn on a light. there’s so much room in here now, that i feel like i need to go out and find something to fill in the space! (i won’t). it’s just after 9:30 at night and i’ve got the tele & laptop on — no more using my phone as a nightlight to guide me around our furniture!

i will miss my Jovie sleeping in a cot beside me, it was nice to just roll over and see her there. when she’s having a bad night, she comes into our bed so the “co-sleeping when necessary” time will still continue, but giving her this space is a good thing – a great thing! but she’s growing up so fast…
