i’m so proud of both of my kids – Jovie always has a way to reach me, whether it’s wanting to spend a little extra time on my lap (she usually doesn’t like sitting with anyone too long) or holding her gaze a little longer. there’s little things every now and then, that make me go “WOAH” and i live for those moments with her. i believe i have a connection with her, somewhere in Jovie land and that it so good for my heart (and head).
Jasper – i don’t expect him to understand what is going on with Jovie, but he manages to show such love towards her without us telling or reminding him. he’s had to grow up a little faster, but still remains a little boy at the same time. he’s so smart, knows more about the solar system than i do and has such a great imagination.
