take no chances

a couple of hours ago, mum got news that her mother had had a stroke and is in hospital undergoing some tests. things don’t look good and looks like mum (and possibly my dad too) will be heading over to kuala lumpur tommorrow sometime, for who knows how long. strange how things can change with a phone call.

the second news of a stroke in as many days.. an uncle of mine flew out today after his mother had a stroke. i remember my mother saying to him that he should go and don’t worry about leaving for however long he needed right now. it’s more important to see your family when you still can – and i think that’s why she’s going to go..

I agree with your Mum, a close-knit family provides warmth and strength during difficult times.

My very best to you & your family, Tracey.

I hope your family is ok..and I definately think it is important to see your family whilst you still can..but it can be easy to forget how fickle life can be sometimes……
