precious & delicious – gifts for mothers day

my birthday sits close to mothers day, which often means back to back presents… i generally don’t ask for anything for either event because i think i’m pretty well taken care of anyway but two awesome things landed on my doorstep this week that i wanted to share :)

i absolutely love a family portrait – however getting me infront of a camera usually doesn’t happen. a few weeks ago, i was browsing etsy and came across the talented Danielle Gundry-Monji, also known as Bunny Dee. after a few messages back and forth, she sent off the finished illustration and voila –

isn’t it amazing?? Regan thinks she got him spot on (I do too!) and my sister has already requested her own personal portrait for her birthday. Danielle’s work is so quirky and fun, she’s a pleasure to work with and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for some personal artwork. i’m going to work it into my blog design soon too!

the second awesome present i’ve received this week is a beautiful Mothers Day Hamper by Ferrero. Ferrero were kind enough to send across the Limited Edition Mother’s Day Hamper for me to DEVOUR and devour I will…

Not only is it filled with yummy Ferrero Rocher’s (including the Rondnoir’s which I haven’t had before – YUM), it comes in a beautifully designed, Catherine Martin signed gift box which in itself is a gift. Gorgeous.

You can order the hamper in Australia, online here – www.ferreroboutique.com.au. For Mother’s day orders, there is a cut off so check out this page.

Ferrero are also donating $5 for every hamper sold until 11th May to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. We’ve been up at the kid’s hospital a bunch of times in the last 6 months, so if you’re looking for a great present for Mother’s Day, you can help out the kids by buying a hamper too :)

Don’t forget to enter my birthday giveaway –

4 film cameras plus film to giveaway on Sunday and 43 awesome entries so far!
