being a woman sucks (sometimes).

i totally forgot to do anything ‘girly’ for the wedding in the past month or so, so i made a booking to have a facial and maybe get some advice on how to rid myself of my horrible horrible elephant man scars .. ok, not elephant man but the scars on my face haven’t cleared up after a few years of home treatments so i wanted some advice and new products to try

so i rock up at 5.15 for my facial and two hours later, i’m out, i’m dazed and $220 out of pocket. what the heck happened in there?? haha. it’s okay though cause i guess it all reasons out – 1.5 hours of massage and pampering plus i came away with products and free stuff.. could of been worse but wow we can spend money without knowing it (thank god i’ve been working overtime)

tommorrow is my final dress fitting! i can’t wait to put it on again cause i tend to forget what it looks like (my last fitting was about 4 months ago i think) – i’m making sure to take a polaroid of how i look though (no, i ain’t posting it!!!!), i have a hair appointment afterwards and still haven’t chosen how i’m going to wear my hair.. grr.

anyway, there are few things left to do for the wedding.. design and print placecards, find jewellery (earrings or necklace? let me know if you find clip on earrings since i can’t pierce my ears), check up on the wedding rings (they’re late!!), decide on the readings, meet with our celebrant Ruth once more, buy a few little things for the table settings, check in with our photographer, organise a video for Regan’s mum and bro since they can’t make it, get my sisters shoes … i’m getting HYPER excited these days!!

btw, 1 MONTH TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda forgot that your wedding’s in January until you wrote about it above. That fact’d always been floating about and I’d always thought it was still far off.

But.. wow! One month. Don’t stress out, drink lots of herbal tea and all the best! (btw, thanks for the reminder that this year is passing by so quicky. 😉

i’m not stressed about the wedding at all! i can’t wait!!!

you know what else that $220 got me? a nasty eye infection. i don’t think i’ll go back to that place again.

Breathe. It will be over soon and the re-occuring nightmare that not everything is done will be over approx a month after the wedding.

How exciting! A new layout – I love it! And your wedding’s coming UP! My boyfriend’s bestfriend’s wedding is on the 3rd, so that’s coming up too! XD I’m one of the photographers… how scary! Whee!
