mine, well it started off great! then .. i got real sick (again).
there’s something wrong with me, i think. i’m still spinning, still having headaches and dizziness, i still feel nauseous and i’m still tired … i’m not sure exactly how long i’ve been feel this crap – maybe 2 weeks now? i don’t know what’s going on and that suckssss. the only things that i’ll eat that don’t make me feel worse are toast and cruskits (crackers) and water, although i can’t resist the odd chocolate cookie – i haven’t touched the yummy chocolate mudcake that i bought 3 days ago!
anywayyyy, feb 29 was interesting nonetheless! i had set a few key things in the day to do that was out of my comfort zone and out of my usual sunday routine and it was fun!
i don’t know whether most of you know this – but i’m deathly afraid of heights. i never used to be until my sister was describing (in detail) her fear of heights as we were driving over the anzac bridge and now i’m a scaredy cat! i knew that if i wanted to so something to do with heights, it would have to be first thing in the morning. so off i went and let the elevator shoot me up 250 metres into the sky, so i could walk around the Sydney Tower (also known as Sydney Centrepoint).
how did i feel? do the words ‘terror’ and ‘body convulsions’ illustrate it? haha. actually it wasn’t that bad – i managed to walk around the turret twice to get some OK photos (let’s face it, if you’re about to throw up you’re not wanting to take photos even if you’re me). yep, i was too chicken to actually walk up to the edge of the room but hey, i went up in the first place! after the two laps though, i had to get down or i’d die up there. altogether i spent about 15 mins up there which is more than i thought i would. i’d do it again for sure, i’d like to get used to heights sometime … (to add, i didn’t feel sick afterwards for hours so i don’t think the heights thing was making me sick yesterday)
other parts of my day included taking the light rail to the fish markets to get some scallops for dinner, i usually take the monorail to get stuff but not yesterday! and an unexpected happy minute – back to the scene of my embarassing parallel park job – i parallel parked my dad’s CR-V without any problems! i wish i got of photo of that 😛
the rest of the night was me lying in bed or running to the bathroom ready to throw up – so i don’t think my photos will be that good this time around but we’ll see. i’ll be putting up the a day in the life : the leap day finished form in a couple of hours or so (i didn’t get to do it last night since i was .. well you know by now)
can wait to see what everyone else did!!!
