since friday i’ve been computer free, so i haven’t been around to tend to thing around here. it’s a good thing though! five out of seven days i’ll spend 12+ hours here – and it’s starting to drive me nuts!
last night, Regan and i headed out to the royal easter show as planned. since it was his first, we spent a little time going around to see all the animals before it got dark. we did the usual ‘look at everything’ and headed out to the showbag pavilion which has given us instant cavities 😛 we’re sharing the coke bag, freddo frog bag, starburst, natural confectionary, wonka bag and Regan got his bag of kids musical instruments 😀 we actually didn’t up spending a whole lot which was good, plus we walked away with some krispy kreme since they set up shop at the show!
my favourite part of the show this year was taking some night shots (i didn’t get many daylight shots and actually i didn’t even fill up my memory card which is really strange for me…). i’ll post some of my photographs later in the week.. i haven’t been home to see them on the computer yet! (side note, i’ve posted up a few photos i took last week or so at my parents place, i was really suprised how clear they came out with the close up filter (it usually fuzzes around the edges) and i really love this set).
somewhere in between all the driving around and easter show shanannigans, i managed to get hooked on the ‘hot date‘ expansion pack for the sims. uh oh. it spells trouble alright! i’m addicted to planning out the little restaurants and shops and things.. even so, i’ve gotten out my grid book and ruler and draw it out if i don’t want to be on the computer. ooooh dear.
