if you’re in australia, you’re well aware that local sydney girl mary donaldson is about to become a princess. there’s the tv shows, the numerous interviews (well, the same one played over and over again), the articles in the paper and on the web, the banners at the slip inn (where she met her prince). it’s mary and fredrik fever… and i’m enjoying it!
in light of the recent news of the world, i think it’s nice to see people be happy and find love. sure, she’s marrying into royalty – something so much out of reach for a good 99% of us and something most people find cheesy, annoying and whatever – but hey, i love a good flashy wedding
while i can’t comment on their relationship (who can but themselves really), as posted here, my notable crazy facts about the wedding and mary :
it’ll cost an estimated $35 million (so there better be a vegetarian option at the reception people!)
mary came 87th in FHM magazine’s list of the world’s sexiest women (the first sexy princess?)
fredrik gets a payrise after the wedding, from $940,000 to $3.21 million (why can’t that happen to all of us?)
for the record, the wedding will be aired at midnight channel seven & 11.30pm on sbs, and again tommorrow at midday channel seven & 7.30pm on sbs.
