three j’s : jamieanne, jarod and james
met up with the lovely jamieanne, james and jarod yesterday for a little walk around the city. first stop was the camera market (where jarod was lost in a sea of film cameras and accessories). there was a tonne of cool stuff – some really cheap kodak brownie’s ($3!!!) and other vintage plastic toy cameras but i didn’t end up getting anything since i didn’t have the $750 for a mamiya (aww).
after a few rounds of the (tiny) market, we decided to visit the australian maritime museum since most of us hadn’t been before, and it was free! i think collectively we probably took about 600 photos all up – jamieanne winning the lowest number because she was using film; james winning the highest number because… well it’s james and he shoots like a photo happy tourist at disneyland (just kidding james!).
hopefully jarod won’t post up the cheap shots of me he kept snapping – though i have enough of him to start that ‘i hate jarod’ website … (but i won’t!). all in all a nice day out with some new friends – next time, manda’s foot better behave!
