since we’ve switched over to iiNet for our phone & net connection – i’ve had weekly calls from Telstra asking me to switch back to them. fine, that’s good you want some business. i deal with alot of telemarketers from all kinds of places and i’ve always told them nicely when we’re not interested. no big deal.
however today broke the camel’s back – in the space of 8 hours, i’ve had 5 different ‘sales’ people from Telstra call me for the same bloody thing. each time i’ve declined politely, but the last call – the 6th, 10 minutes ago – pushed my button a little more than i’d usually let it … i’m having a hard time today and i can’t handle getting up 1,000 times to answer the phone and deal with this nonsense again.
i don’t understand how they don’t have a system where they mark down who they’ve called and who’s expressly told them not to call back as they’re not interested … i’m sure they’d save man power if they had some sort of list going.
gah!!!
