cry baby

Posted on January 16th, 2007 by Tracey

I’m not sure what it is lately, but I’ve officially turned into a great big ball of fluff.

Can’t open a bag of chips. Cry.
The city looks so beautiful today. Cry.
Gupta runs out onto the tarmac. Cry.

I’ve had my hormones checked (for other reasons) and I’m fine. I guess this is the new me.

*cries*

back to school..

i mean – back to WORK!

i now have the lovely task of retreiving 6 years of lost emails – for some reason, just after we broke for xmas/new years, my computer decided to eat outlook express and didn’t allow me to make any backups. over the break, i found some of my folders with emails in them, but i still have about 200,000 to find :/ it doesn’t help that we’ve changed to a new hard drive so all the old stuff is on a different computer and i’ve got to search and search and search for things.

wish me luck.

MAKE BACKUPS!

the waiting game

waiting

if you’re poor like me, medicare and bulk bill doctors are a godsend. but no one likes to wait 3 hours to see the only female doc in a city general practice. no i’m not exaggerating, i waited 3 hours to see the doc for 5 minutes. if i had paid $100, i could of had an appointment for 10 minutes set (which i will in future if i can’t wait around like a bozo), but otherwise i had to schlept it in line.

(i don’t know why they don’t put on more doctors, male or female. i wouldn’t of minded seeing a male doc, it’s just that i was told to see this particular one. they seriously only had 2 doctors working, at least 10 of the rooms where empty and this is midweek in the middle of the city).

after all that, i still have to see another doc whose waiting list is 3 weeks long while i try and get my gastric reflux thing underwraps and keep my migraines at bay (ugh).

no one likes a whinger, but sometimes you just gotta.

p.s. i’m OK, it could be worse. just a little off kilter.
