so you think you can dance, australian tour

yes, you read right – this post is about sytycd australia, lol…

my sister got front row tickets to the sydney show, and she took me along (i think none of her friends wanted to go, haha). oh boy, was front row 1. embarassing because i felt like the oldest person in the whole place; 2. very very close to the dancers.

the show would of been better if it didn’t feel like a over rehearsed but very cute high school musical, but all the dancers were amazing to see in real life. they’re fantastic at what they do – i had a great time watching them dance new stuff and old favourites from the show.

Rhys, our favourite, was really charismatic and a crowd favourite. Jack, the winner, is heaps better in person, imo!

favourite parts – Henry and Vanessa’s African samba (it’s goooood live!), Kate and Jack’s Singing in the Rain, Kate and Graeme’s ‘fix you’ contemporary, Demi and Jack’s Samba and Rhys’ solo

yes there are photos, but on my sister’s camera so i’ll post them when i get them

late email

so i’m cleaning out my inbox, i had old unread email back from november last year. my dad is notorious for sending out forwards – some funny, some sad, some pretty cool…

here’s one that my dad sent on the day Jasper was born (so I was obviously too busy to read and reply, lol)

daddy, how was i born?
The father answers: “Well son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo . Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive . As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said:

‘You got Male!'”

cheesey, no? 😛

i wonder if he was saving that one up to send specifically on the day …

yes, my blog was down again.
yes, i’m back.. again.

i have tomorrow ‘off’ – so i’ve got a few things to do with Jasper tomorrow and hopefully i can get some rest… speaking of rest, i should be in bed! night!
