over the past week, i’ve been pondering my ‘career’ – what i’m doing now, what i want to do in the future. i’ve read blogs and ebooks and started to scribble into journals ideas and great quotes to inspire me
in regards to work and hobbies, one of the questions asked is what lights my fire?
what makes me feel good when i’m doing it. what makes sense to me. what puts a smile on my face.
i’ve been thinking about that question for a few days now and at first i really couldn’t put my finger on what. i started off with silly things like being snuggled up on the couch and surfing the net – hardly career making things, or is it?
i told myself to not be so hard on myself – that maybe surfing the net while sitting on the couch COULD be a career if that’s what i want. if i dare to dream, no, if i just let go and have fun with that goal – maybe it’ll be a reality one day but it all starts with hard work and a fun positive attitude to live your life with passion and not be afraid.
so a note to myself – don’t be afraid, tracey.
and i’ll ask you – what lights your fire? what makes you feel good when you’re doing it, and could you make a career out of it?
