i’ve decided to call my new Diana Mini F+ – Lady Di 🙂 it’s such a cute camera – even Jasper wanted to play with it!
like everyone else (well most of us..), i’ve been shattered to see the earthquake, then the tsunami and now the nuclear emergency footage on the tele and on the net. i can’t imagine what it’s really like to be there and to experience all those terrible things… i’ve never been to Japan but it’s been on of the places i have to visit asap (was trying to get a ticket there for my bday next month!). not only that, it’s heartbreaking to see whole towns levelled and thousands missing or simply gone.
i’m putting together an auction or raffle or something next week or so once new stock for the online shop i’m setting up has come in. i’m going to box up some stuff that i was going to add to the store, and either auction or raffle it off and then donate 100% to the Red Cross. it’ll definately contain either a Diana Mini + film, or Polaroid Film for SX70 (I might even run a couple of them so both are options). i want to put some energy in fundraising for Japan rather than worry about my own store right now..
