THE Lord of the Rings films have spawned a new range of wedding day attire.
Australian Bridal Service managing director Glenn Findlay said there had been a shift to weddings with a film theme – and Aragorn, Arwen and their Hobbit friends are leading the way.
“Movies set a lot of different trends,” he said.
“And couples watch them and then want to do something different, so they have a themed wedding like The Lord of the Rings.
“Three years ago no one would have looked twice at gothic or themed wedding attire, but now that’s all changed.”
