it was my boss’ wedding yesterday, so Regan and i dropped Jasper with grandma and we took the drive up to Leura, up in the Blue Mountains. it was a gorgeous afternoon! i kept on ‘oooh’-ing and ‘ahhh’-ing at the beautiful trees and their shades of green, yellow and red (Regan said it was like i’d never seen a tree before, lol) – it’s really pretty this time of year. the sun stayed out for their garden ceremony and we all had a great time celebrating out in the sunshine and fresh air.
we got there a little early and thought about checking out a lookout point, but then again semi-formal gear and hiking 175m down rocky steps doesn’t sound like they go hand in hand.
it was nice to get away from the suburbs a bit, we would love to take Jasper up there someday soon ..
