apart from it being Australia Day today (happy Australia day!!), it’s also the start of the Chinese New year!
this Chinese new year is the year of the Ox (the years 1901, 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009) –
The Ox is the sign of prosperity through fortitude and hard work. This powerful sign is a born leader, being quite dependable and possessing an innate ability to achieve great things. As one might guess, such people are dependable, calm, and modest. we had our traditional dinner last night at my parent’s house – and yes, Jasper was dressed up again this year! funnily enough, it was the same cheong sum from last year, and it’s still a bit baggy! i can’t remember it being THAT big on him last year when he was teeny tinier ..
