LG Prada 2 vs HTC Hero vs everything else!

Regan and I are both due to upgrade our mobile phones – it’s been 4 years and the Sony Ericssons (we have the same phones, on the same awesome CHEAP plan!) are looking a bit worse for wear..

the more I look for a new phone, the more choices there seems to be… last night, I was certain that the LG Prada 2 was the one for me. not for the brand (couldn’t care less) but it looked pretty and has WiFi and a decent camera on it. but then this morning, I spotted the HTC Hero which is a bit prettier (the widgets/clock is colour… and being a designer, I love my colours)..

so back to obsessing over THIS now, since the double pram arrived yesterday and that satisfied me for about 2 seconds, LOL.

if you can recommend me a phone, that has WiFi, at least 3MP, 3G compatible (Three network), isn’t an iPhone and is under AU$700 – leave me a comment please 🙂

I’m in the same boat actually. It’s time for us to upgrade, but it turns out it is cheaper for us to pay for the phones outright than it is to get a contract! A contract would be $50 more a month which over 2 years is $1200! So buying a phone for $400 still saves us money if we keep them for 2 years. (Or 1 year and sell them for half).

Anyway, I’m going to buy the Blackberry Bold 9700. I like the new Droid phone, but I’m not sure you can get either of these in Au. I like to talk gadgets so can’t wait to see what you get.
