you gotta lay the foundations!
my big plan for 2010 is to get sh1ft.org photographic projects updated in a big way – add registrations, profiles, groups, commenting – just make it more personal, more like a community. i think the blog format that i currently use is not the right fit, so i’m very keen to get something else going before it goes further down the toilet..
i’ve been spending hours researching and testing the open source social networks out there, i think i’m going to stick with WordPress and use BuddyPress with customisations that i’ll do myself (oi vey). hopefully if all goes well, i can get this done for valentines day!
