You Can Have It All by Love Sugar
after a few weeks of brain fog, mind blanks and inner turmoil, i finished my first custom wordpress design yesterday. i started a new photoshop canvas in the morning, and 3 hours later it was done (though, with the actual coding to be completed!).
since Jovie was born, i’ve had wednesday’s off work to take care of the kids and then see whether i could start my own side business, and since november or so i’ve been searching and trying out options – from writing an ebook (though i’m a terrible writer) to creating a new social network (don’t have the resources to get into this project). my problem is that while i have ideas, i have issues with believing in myself enough to make it past the first few stages.
but today, finally, i think i will be able to really do this. afterall, i’ve been designing websites for about 13 years now and it’s time that i step up my game. designing is still something that makes me happy and i think that’s the key to success.
this thursday, i am thankful for the patience i’ve given myself to not burn out, give up and throw it in. i think i’m often hard on myself to be some sort of internet superstar, but really, i just needed to be myself and everything else will flow.
