like any bride-to-be (how weird is that to describe myself as??) i’m losing hours in the day, days in the week and soon enough even the weeks will be gone. most days i’m up working between 8.30AM right through to 7PM without a break, most weekends i’m running around doing small things for the wedding, finishing my tutorials for my photography course (which i’m more than halfway through, btw), desperately seeking some ‘roam’ time with my camera (hadn’t picked up my camera the whole week which is crazy for me) and trying to spend some quality time with my partner. don’t even mention that i probably won’t finish the 26 Things project myself and haven’t even thought of redesigning sh1ft.org in the last 2 months (at least right?).
on top of that, my iron levels are low so i’m on supplements again and i have a little stomach bug thing because our fridge wasn’t working right all week.
add 1 more thing, and hello breaking point! while it might not seem so much to do to some (ahem, my parents), it’s alot for me right now.
anyway, my whole point about this entry is that i hate to let anyone down, especially my parents but i think in aid of my sanity, something’s gotta give. the project (which my father had set up for me without my knowledge) that i had to turn down wasn’t something that i thought could fit in with everything right now and i hope that they respect that. i already had a talk to them both about it and they said it was fine, but i think they were disappointed in me which is why it’s still bothering me so much…
i guess you can’t satisfy everyone, right? at least it’s not something huge that i’m disappointing them with, it could be alot worse and alot more to be worried about. oooh well.
ohmygod, i’ve totally forgotten about christmas.
(seriously)
to add to this entry, the worse part of it is that if i had said ‘yes’ to doing the project – it would probably earn me a little extra cash which we could do with. but what’s more important – money or your health and happiness?
