since this is our last week before going back to work, Regan and i have made a pact to do a different thing each day! we’re trying to do things that we normally wouldn’t get to do together because of different work schedules so it’s like being away on vacation, but staying at home. unfortunately, we didn’t organise a proper honeymoon in time, so we’re thinking of doing something for my birthday in april … anyway!
on tuesday, we went on a harbour cruise which was beautiful. it took us under the harbour bridge and right around sydney harbour and we had a great seafood lunch onboard! i definately recommend it, especially if it’s a great summer day like we had 😀 a touch on the windy side though, and unfortunately for us – we got ‘sea sick’ when we got back. could ‘feel’ the waves for hours afterwards which wasn’t a nice experience.
today, we drove up to manly beach for a quick swim and look around. the currents were pretty strong so the red and yellow flags area was only about a 5 metre stretch at the south end of the beach but we had a great time together and got a tan while we’re at it! afterwards, we popped over to warringah mall since i saw they had a few pet shops. the drive back to the city was … like a sauna. for some reason the airconditioning in my car only would blow out hot/warm air, so as soon as we got back to the apartment – we jumped back into the pool!
tommorrow, we don’t have rock solid plans but we’ll keep you informed!
in other news, congrats to luke! (old school friend).
