less than 24 hours until radiohead’s first australian show in yearrrrssss! i walked past the ent cent a few times tonight to ‘check’ and i saw a few people coming in and out the back, and heard some guitar checks but i doubt they were around.
so anyway, here’s my watered down, crazy pre radiohead show entry!
alot of people know that radiohead are the reason Regan and i found each other to begin with – so ontop of them being our favourite artists, they’re our very own personal matchmakers! (well, sorta).
my radiohead sickness began when i first heard ‘the bends’ while walking around singapore airport in … 96? from there, i saw the ‘just’ video and i was hooked. five years later, i discovered the little (actually, big) radiohead communities online and joined on in and voila – i met Regan! he’s already seen them once before, so we’d talk about how it was and of course i was jealous – but now it’s all ok 😉 that little image is of me in about 2001 with a little scary bear on my thumb
the closest i’ve been to a radiohead show in australia before this tour, was this poster which i bought on ebay …

i don’t know what else to say that won’t sound like a buzzing noise or high pitched girly giggles. the show is tommorrow night, and we get to see them again the following night and i don’t expect less than a religious experience!
