one of those weekends, you know?
we couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it is but we couldn’t be bothered to get out and do anything extra this weekend. although i did go on my weekend walks to nowhere (aka let’s walk around aimlessly), i didn’t take more than 4 photos (2 of which i’ve posted in this entry). the internet connection kept timing out on me whenever i managed to log in, so i didn’t do anything constructive here again this weekend. things aren’t as bad as they sound though, so i shouldn’t be a poopy pants about it all
i think one thing i’m getting ‘depressed’ about is work. i really just feel like this is it – that after this year i want to do something different. after all, it’s been 4 years at the same job – enough to put down as a great experience and enough to drive me insane (working from home does have its downsides, amongst other things.) let me know your advice?
one thing i did do on the weekend, was replace my stupid (mobile) phone. for years it’s been acting up but the new deal at orange made me get off my ass and do something about it. (it’s nice to make a phone call or send a text message and not have the battery drain out on you after 10 seconds. it seriously did that and made it hard for me to use it). so anyway, part of the deal was 2 phones on 1 plan – so Regan got his first phone!
it’s a great little phone – Regan’s favourite part is that he gets to play games on it, haha. i have managed to get a tetris addiction though, a childhood problem that’s found it’s way back in the form of portable tetris-ing. the best parts though, the free sms and 5 min calls between the two phones (and anyone else who uses the same network) – so it’s all cool, and hasn’t really changed my monthly bill.
