unusually for me, i’ve been out! work ended for 2004 a week earlier that i had planned – so at least i know i have a few days that i can catch up on my sleep with. alot has happened in the past couple of weeks, all good!
weddings weddings weddings. i set a goal for myself to photograph at least 6 weddings in the next year – so far i’ve booked 3! steve & naomi, of course, in january and another wedding in february. i’m right in the middle of a three day traditional hindu wedding – last night was the henna rituals, to which i was kindly invited to join in! tonight, is the yellow paint and oil rituals (which i can’t make) and tommorrow is the wedding itself!
i’m having a lot of fun in the process, and i figure that why not combine my love of photography, with an event that brings together so many smiling faces? i love being a part of someone’s day, and i love even more that they give me the opportunity to photograph it! hoooray! have i found my field? ask me in a year.
property owners? Regan and i found an apartment to buy! monday afternoon, we go in and sign the contracts and pay our deposit (bye bye bank balance..). because of the holidays, and settlement time – we’re probably looking to move in end of january, which means big housewarming party!!! it feels good to have found something in the area we love – and the way we see it, once the loan is paid off – it’s ours! if we can handle it, we hope to own 2 or 3 properties before we’re 30…
12522 to 0 … amanda and sean have met up in sydney!!!! no one has heard back from them… but i’m sure they’re having a great time together. alot of the posts they’ve made in their journal could of been directly posted from things Regan and i have said. it’s eerie how things can be so similiar!

i’ve totally misjudged when christmas is and how much time i have to do things … only a week to go and all i have is a headache! thank god for all the christmas parties and friends around us 😉
