monday, first signs of a bad cold. sandpaper scratch throat, monkey pounding headaches, sweating in 11 degree weather.
this morning? cold’s still here AND i’ve woken up late (stupid alarm clock), with a case of elephantitis – my left eye is swollen shut!
fabulous.
even better? i’ll have to go out in public LIKE THIS to get some anti-swelling stuff for it if i want to work today.
i wonder what wednesday will bring! haha.

For you swollen eye I suggest a camomile compress. Just make some camomile, let it turn cold, soak a handkerchief with it and put it on your eye. It works! I often get the same problem, hope you feel better soon…

That reminds me, one time when I was out boating in Portland, Oregon, my face got so sunburned, that it swelled up and both of my eyes were nearly swollen shut. I can’t believe I actually went to work like that… yikes…
