actually, there isn’t much more to update!
it’s been almost 2 months since we put the holding deposit down on this place and a few weeks ago, i signed the contract.
so what are we waiting for? the land title to be registered…. and apparently that can take months (until december!!). the whole row of townhouses on our block are also waiting, so i guess we’re not alone.
i was getting really peed off that we mightn’t be all settled before september/october (and that we’d have to go through selling our apartment later than scheduled) but i’ve resigned those negative thoughts and decided to just let it go. it’ll happen when it happens, and in the meantime we get to enjoy some downtime in our apartment, in the city and just let them do their job.
i still send out positive vibes every day for something to happen, but really there’s nothing else i can do unless i get a job at the lands council or something … *hmmmm*
so yes, we’re still moving – we just don’t know when.
