i’ve been a bit of a grumpy bum the past entries haven’t i?
things are actually still really great 😀 so i guess that’s why these little things grate on me so much.
they’re doing some construction work 20 metres from my apartment, and it’s been all day every day this week (though they’ve been out there for months) that the buzzing and the noise continues. from about 9am to 6pm. every day. even on saturday mornings. that annoying low low hum that pierces your ear drums. gahhh!
i’m a little tired and a tad slower these days too. it’s hard to keep up at work, but i’m trying. they can’t ever fault me for not trying because i work my ass off. damn work ethic.
no change in the ‘moving house’ column over here. still waiting, hoping, wishing … gives us time to enjoy the city and the apartment (if it would just stop buzzing). i do hope it’s by september though – it’ll give me time to organise all the new house stuff we all have to do when we move, before the bub gets here.
can’t wait for the weekend, or even 6pm when relaxation can begin for at least another 14 hours …
