so i went ahead and got my haircut today too! as she was cutting it, i was a bit scared that i went too short – but i’m really happy with it! i think it’s at the right length, just before ‘too short’ and enough room to grow out before the wedding (in january). i really did need a change, my hair was screaming for it haha
yesterday, regan and i made the most of the awesome winter/spring weather and took some photos for our wedding invitations. the design turned out pretty well so we’re just going to show it to a few people for their opinions before we start to print them out in mass. we’re doing it ourselves at home, which is turning out to be a great learning curve for me since i want to print my own photography book mockup as a guide of what i want published. i’ve had a few dreams lately about the art direction of the book (yeah we all know i’m weird) so i’m thinking of taking that as inspiration and going ahead with it.
i haven’t forgotten that connect8 starts soon! just getting the list of starting themes/ideas together, there will be quite alot i think just so that it’s not too hard or restrictive. connect8 was meant to be a mini-project but i’m glad a few people are interested in it too.
getting the ‘things’ for the next 26 Things is going to be harder though. as the poll stands on the website, 42% want a more challenging and abstract list, 34% want it about the same, 6% want it easier and 18% don’t mind. i just hope i make most people happy with what i decide is the list this time around.
