since i’ve had a bit of free time lately, i’ve been starting to look around the house for unfinished projects – we still need light shades or SOMETHING for 75% of the fittings in the house, and i wanted to decorate the upstairs play room (ex-4th bedroom/guest room). luckily for me, i came across forwalls decals on sale at a little decorating shop in our area! i ended up with 2 decals – a chalkboard truck (which ended up in Jasper’s room) and forest friends. how gorgeous does it look?
it was really easy to put up – i followed the design in the picture so i wouldn’t mess it up. the little owl and the woodpecker are adorable, but i didn’t use the hedgehog or mushroom yet (thinking of waiting until we work out where Jovie will sleep once she’s out of our room). i left a space to the left of it so i could put up a couple of my prints later on.

both are available on my zazzle store (a green owl version is available too) – i haven’t decided whether or not i will print them myself (as i don’t have a decent printer) but zazzle should do a great job with these prints 🙂
i’ve been trying to get a store up and running for ages, and this is just the start of the dream!
i’m not known for being a bookworm – i prefer images to words myself 😉 so i missed the whole twilight book obsession.. but my sister and my mother were/are thoroughly caught up in it, so when i had the chance to see the movie, i thought i’d give it a go
well, i saw it. and yeah … lol. i think if i had a little teenage fangirl inside me, i’d be going nuts over Edward too but what’s with
– Peter Facinelli looking like he fell into a vat of baby powder. i know he’s undead and all, but my gosh put a colour rinse through your hair and get crazy with some bronzer at least. it’s 2009!
– Jasper’s permanent wide eyed stare (maybe that was just around Bella?). made me laugh for the wrong reasons 😛
– the movie going slower that this pregnancy – i thought i’d have the baby, then throw her first birthday party before the movie ended.
i did LOVE the Cullen’s house though – best of both worlds: modern, and secluded. seem’s like others love it too 🙂 it’s called The Hoke House and i want to steal it.. somehow.. not sure how actually.
i think instead of fawning over the vampires, i’m going to direct my undying lust to this house instead!!
