i know i know i know. all talk, no show when it comes to the photography projects. but hopefully by posting this up, it will mean i will stick to it.
i redesigned the site last night and this morning –
i wanted it to be more sociable, more ‘bloggy’ and at the same time, just more streamlined to read and participate. i hated the directory part of the site, so i’m going to revert back to just asking people to post their link as a comment to a blog entry. simple stuff.
i wanted to find a way so that people could upload to the site but i really don’t have the money to develop something like that AND host it for X years. i can dream though …
hopefully it will do much better now that i’ve got time to properly look at it, and run it properly. i think now that i’m back at work, and the kids are settled, i’m a bit more focused on things i like to do for fun. blogging and photography.

“are you STILL looking at that house?” says my husband. and with that, i realise that yes, i’m obsessed!
after taking Jasper out to the playground this morning, we took a detour and visited the new show homes of Metricon. we drive past it often but never had the chance to go in and have a look, i would just pull over and stare. yes, i told you i was obsessed 😛
anyway, Jasper and I got out and walked through a few of them (didn’t want to drag JJ around too much) and wow! all of them are beautifully presented, amazing interiors and lovely big, open spaces. my favourite was The Laguna.

… finally.
it only took me a WHOLE YEAR, but i finally updated the australian baby blog design and have started to post new stuff to the blog.
i’m still working on it though! since i start back at work on monday (blah), i’ve been madly trying to find some time to update all my neglected sites (including the gluten free food blog and the girl loves to shop). it’s tough to find the time, but i’m determined to keep it up.
another thing i’ve let go is the photographic projects… bugger. i need to streamline things, don’t you think? 😛
one thing i want to do is start giving away little gifts – i like the idea of giving and making someone’s day a bit brighter, so this is definately in the cards too.
