EA Sports Active: 6 Week Challenge

I’m now into Week 2 of the 6 Week Challenge (using EA Sports: More Workouts on the Wii)!

How am I feeling?
Really good! Every workout so far has been different, so it’s been fun 🙂 The workouts have alternated between upper, lower and both, so there’s been variety and something new. The waterskiing was funny, but I still really like boxing!

I set the intensity higher after the first workout so I now get a decent puff going on during and after, I’m recovering well and no more aches like the first few workouts. I can sort of see some change in my shape already but I’m not counting my chickens

What other changes have I made?
I’ve stopped eating crap for lunch – I eat brown rice and steam veges with either salmon or a boiled egg. I loveee it so I’m glad it’s healthy. I’ve also cut out apple juice – too much sugar!

What are the goals for the next week?
Keep up with the intensity of the workout.

We Love Liam

while working late last night, i stumbled upon We Love Liam – a blog created by Lynn Russell, mum to Liam. Liam is a gorgeous, almost 6 year old with a neuromuscular disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. Lynn is raising money to remodel their bathroom, to make life easier for Liam and his family.

i don’t know Lynn or Liam, but i love a little battler, someone who smiles in the face of adversity. if you have a minute, visit Lynn & Liam over at We Love Liam, if not to donate, but to have a peek at the cute pie in the Wall-E costume! it rocks!!
