it’s hard to change a habit.
i’ve grown up to live a ‘safe’ life, to stay out of the way and not cause trouble or be an attention seeker
this part of me has been the hardest to identify, learn about and ultimately let go. i work on it every single day.
this is how my brain feels lately –
i get an idea, one that i love, then i dwell on it for anywhere between a minute or 5 years. and within that time frame, my brain and i go round and round in circles trying to make a decision. if ever i make a decision, that is.
i can’t shake the feeling that “i can’t do this” or “you’ll never succeed”.
and i desperately want to focus on one thing (other than my kids and family of course), that i can be proud of. i feel like i have too many interests sometimes, not that it’s a bad thing but i know i’m being pulled in more directions than i’d like. want to know how many blogs i really run? you don’t, it’s too crazy to blog about.
i’ll be 31 next month, and i feel like 2012 is a year to make a leap of faith. dedicate the next decade to personal growth, success and back to financial stability.
oh, how i want to be stable. i don’t want that badly drawn picture above to resemble my 30’s. i know i wrote about making a start, a few blog posts down, but here i still am – one foot out the door, the other firmly planted inside.
where’s my confidence? where do you find the balls to say YES I DO THIS? where your pointer points? and then what do you do to keep it going?

World Autism Awareness Day is on April 2 this year, they’re running the Light It Up Blue campaign (website to go live March 19, though I don’t know why a splash page couldn’t go up right now…) so I’m going to do my part is spreading awareness and maybe fundraise a little bit at the same time
