For today’s A Day In The Life which I ran today over at sh1ft.org photographic projects!
The point of A Day In The Life is to show a slice of your daily life and take a photo each hour on the chosen day. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t plan to do anything special or you don’t have the best camera, just fit photography into your life!
My day actually started at 1.15am when Jovie decided it’d be a good time to wake up, scream and cry her eyes out. I eventually got her to sleep at around 2:30am but I didn’t take a decent photo so just imagine a really dark house and me asleep on the couch. We got up again at 6:30am to take Regan off to work and then our photo fun begun –
Brekkie at Parramatta… I do this every so often with the kids when Regan’s at work, instead of heading home we keep driving and find somewhere to eat and check out the scenery. I always seem to get the eggs, and Jasper asks for pancakes but never finishes them.
Jasper decides he needs to visit the bathroom, Jovie decides that she doesn’t and the screaming match ensues.. ‘mummy I need to go to the toilet’ ‘arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!’ ‘no mummy there’s more’ ‘yrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!’ … I find my inner buddha and take a photo.
Back at home to check on some things and make some lunch
A little icecream after lunch – yum yum.
Off to Grandma’s and Grandpa’s for a splash in the clamshell – it’s a beautiful hot spring day, I’m so glad the weather is warming up
I break out of the asylum, i mean grandma’s, and head out to run some errands. I come home with NOTHING. grrr.
I get back to the house and the kid’s are napping so I nap too, so lovely! I need it…
Someone comes to wake me up….
Home again, this time with Regan in tow. The sun is still out and there’s time to play on the castle in the backyard
A skyscraper and the sunset, the last of the light for the day means the day is winding down…
