metricon homes

“are you STILL looking at that house?” says my husband. and with that, i realise that yes, i’m obsessed!

after taking Jasper out to the playground this morning, we took a detour and visited the new show homes of Metricon. we drive past it often but never had the chance to go in and have a look, i would just pull over and stare. yes, i told you i was obsessed 😛

anyway, Jasper and I got out and walked through a few of them (didn’t want to drag JJ around too much) and wow! all of them are beautifully presented, amazing interiors and lovely big, open spaces. my favourite was The Laguna.

Metricon - The Laguna
see? beautiful!

Metricon - The Laguna
the kitchen has so much bench top i wouldn’t know what to do with myself (but would be happy to figure it out for the rest of my life!), and a generous sized pantry. enough room for a double door fridge and the oven is higher off the ground. i love that the splashback is a window instead!

a big feature of The Laguna, for me, was the Outdoor Rooms not only downstairs, but upstairs too!

the master bedroom has it’s very own outdoor room…

Metricon - The Laguna
the downstairs Outdoor Room features a fireplace, such a great place to hang out in the evening 🙂

Metricon - The Laguna
there’s another fireplace in the sitting room, i would turn this into a reading room/library and spend many hours here reading to the kids and helping them do their homework

Metricon - The Laguna
i love that there is a seperate space for an office, something that i don’t really have now (but get by anyway!) i dream about my own office/studio – i’d have to put a door on it though

and last but not least, the master bedroom’s ensuite is HUGE and features an amazing bath, big shower, double basins and i think the partition/wall between the bathroom and bedroom is very cool
Metricon - The Laguna

if we were to build a new house, i would campaign to buy a double block of land (so we had a big big backyard to run around in) and build this house for sure!

Tracey…who wouldn’t fall in love with this house??! I’d prolly have to slave my entire life to afford such luxury. Totally awesome. But definitely not something I would be able to afford or even dream of in Penang! Property prices here are hilarious 🙁 Hope you’ll get ur dream-house soon 😀

wow, that is indeed a beautiful house! i love the idea of “outdoor rooms” too, although it seems a little odd to have a fireplace outside. not quite the same as a campfire is it? hehe.

i love the clean lines and all the timber surfaces. yummy!

peky, I don’t know about Penang, but i’d love to custom build something like this in Taiping for my dad 😀 i’d definately visit more often LOL

lindsey, i think it was an electric fireplace 😛 i don’t know whether i’d brave the winter cold in an outdoor room to be honest, i wonder how well it keeps the area warmed ..

Hey Tracey i have been Dreaming about my dream home since 2006. With the power of positive visualization i was able to create this dream into a reality. Every day several times a day especially before and after bed, Imagine a path clear it of an clutter with Golden light first then imaging your husband and children and your self on that path made of golden light and its clear and straight. Then imaging your dream home suddenly appearing on your path and its permanent. feel the joy and happiness in your self imaging your husband lifting you up in the air and your children laughing and playing inside your new home. imaging walking into it with your happy and healthy family and enjoying it. DO NOT THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY IT WILL COST this thought of how and when and if at all possible will block it from happening just enjoy it. It will happen trust me We are about to build the Nolan 50 at our Kurnell SYD NSW. The land is only 3 houses down from the Beach. i had written exactly what i wanted on a piece of paper and then put it under my pillow the land near a beach and my dream home and then thought about it every day and its all happening.
GOOD LUCK and remember to be positive all the time negative thoughts of how and when will block it.

Sorry Tracey i got a bit carried away out of excitement.
I only did the positive visualizations for about 6 months. I also asked the Angels and Ganesha to help me. They gave me signs all the way so i buy the perfect land and also helped me find the perfect home. Read books from Doreen virtue for more information on signs and Ester Hicks on remaining positive. We are building the Nolan 50 from Metricon. Trust me this really works.
